The company has undertaken a series of social activities under the guidance of Late Sri Arun Sureka and its present partner Atul Sureka.
A few of them are listed below:
- Tsunami 2004: In Association with KATASDA essential relief materials required for a month by a family was distributed to the needy.
- North Karnataka Floods 2009: In Association with KATASDA essential relief materials required for a month by a family was distributed to the needy.
- Nepal Earthquake 2015: In Association with Sri Brahmarishi Ashram, Tirupati and KATASDA, essential relief materials were distributed to the needy.
- Karnataka & Kerala floods 2018: We plan to rebuild destroyed houses of the poor in Association with KATASDA.
- Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao : Steel Centre has been donating regularly every year towards this noble cause and ensures the education of at least 100 girls per year since 2015
- School Stationery: Steel Centre in association with like-minded friends has been donating the entire stationery for 3 schools in Hassan year on year from last 7 years.
- Temple: Steel Centre has constructed a Temple in Nelamangala & undertakes regular activities there like breakfast for school kids residing in the area, eye check-up camp, Gau shaala, etc.
- Staff Welfare: Steel Centre off late tries to provides free education to the children of its staff, Annual 3 days holidays, medical camps, Gratuity when near & dear ones leave for the heavenly abode.
